how do you fix a computer problem in a 2000 z71 chevy silverado?
My 2000 chevy silverado has problems where the blinker lights on the hud would stay on when the blinkers r off and the fuel gauge would be on empty when u just put at least $40 worth of gas and all the other light would mess up too. I know it has something to do with the computer or ignition but idk how to fix it. Can ny1 tell me how to fix it?
HEYY, i have a 2000 silverado too. Arn't they fun lol. Well i have never had a problem with the blinkers staying on. Might be the arm for the blinkers is bad, or maybe the little switch at the top of the steering wheel is pressed. As far as the fuel meter not working mine did this too. The fuel pump went out and i put a new one in and the problem hasn't come back yet. The needle not working has nothing to do with the computer, its that the little piece in there gets all corroded and doesnt work anymore. Never forget all them times drivin to school wondering if i was gonna make it.
